They’re Right
“My basic principle is that you don’t make decisions because they are easy; you don’t make them because they are cheap; you don’t make them because they’re popular; you make them because they’re right.”
Theodore Hesburgh
(Former president of
Notre Dame)
What this quote means by Theodore Hesburgh is that you make decisions because it is the right thing to do. You make decisions because it helps you in your daily life and in your future. Making decisions is right and not wrong because without decisions they you wouldn’t know what to do and you will do the wrong things. Decisions are helpful in life and daily life because it helps you know what you are doing and it helps you think before you do something right or wrong. Making decisions are right especially when the decision is right. For example, when you see someone getting bullied and then you go and tell someone or ask for help you are making the right decisions but if you just stand there and laugh then you are making the wrong decisions and you need to start thinking about what is right and what is wrong with making decisions. In life it’s sometimes hard to make decisions and you may sometimes not make the right decision. When you make good decisions, the right decisions they are good decisions that you know was the right thing to do. In life there is only one decision and that decision is to make good decisions. These decisions that you make sometimes affect other people if you chose the wrong decision but if you helped that person and you made them realize that what they did was wrong then you choose the good decision which is to help others and always tell them good and positive things. Making decisions is right and not bad or cheap.
