Volunteer Opportunities

There are many non-medical health volunteer opportunities in los angeles and here are some opportunities for young teens to volunteer:

  1. Helping the homeless: supporting their social enterprise is a great way to give back. Homeboy industries serves high risk, formerly gang involved men and women with free services and programs, and operates several social enterprises that serve as job training sites.
  2. The trevor project: is the only national youth ages 13-24. Qualified volunteers and counselors work in various programs. Volunteers also can be trained by to answer texts and instant messages through trevor chat.
  3. County of los angeles library: you volunteer to fix books help others and to put things where they belong. Between ages 13-24 and it helps because they help you out.
