What this quote means is that in sports there is nothing worse than cheating. George mitchell is right when he says that many think that the short term will be worth the long term because that is not true people think different but when it come to cheating steroids is cheating. It may be hard to stimulate the fact that you cheated. If you cheat on a test and of course get a good grade that is a short term. But the long term is that you will always regret what you did and one day you will want to go back and not cheat but unfortunately you cheated and that was not the right thing to do. In school cheating is the worst thing you can do don’t do it unless you will say the truth and face the consequences because there will be consequences even when you don’t expect them in life. In life the truth will hurt and you will never forget that day you did the wrong thing and you choose the wrong. You can never do wrong and feel right it’s impossible. It won’t last long until the long term passes to you because it will come and it will hurt with all the pain. Always choose the right because if you choose the wrong there will be pain in you and you will always remember what you did. You will be hurt.
