True Independence and Freedom

“True independence and freedom can only exist in doing what’s right.”

This quote by brigham young means that if you want true independence and freedom you have to do what’s right. If you do what’s wrong there will be no true independence or freedom there will only be consequences to what you did. Choosing the right is the best thing you can do to always have freedom and to always have true independence. This quote is very important to everyone because it helps us know what we need to do to choose the right and not the wrong you only need to choose the right to have everything you need freedom and true independence in your life. It may be easy to assume that you only need to choose the right but it takes time and you need to have patient but you need to choose the right everyday because if you don’t then you will not always have freedom and true independence you need to show that choosing the right is the best thing that you can do in your daily life. For example, if you want to go to the beach with your friends you need to choose the right and don’t lie to your parents and tell them a different story because if they find out you will not have freedom not even true independence. It’s always better to say the truth than to lie and get caught. Freedom is great because you get to hang out with your friends and you don’t lie to your parents. True independence is also great because your parents trust you and they know that you will say the truth and choose the right. In life you think positive and negative but you always have to be positive and don’t let anyone put you down. When you choose the wrong you lose freedom and true independence. You shouldn’t choose the wrong just to be like others you have to be yourself and don’t let anyone tell you what’s wrong and what’s right you listen to what yourself says and always be you. Enjoy having true independence and freedom because if you choose the wrong freedom and true independence are over you will not have that anymore. Choose the right to live a happy life and to be happy.

What this quote means is that in sports there is nothing worse than cheating. George mitchell is right when he says that many think that the short term will be worth the long term because that is not true people think different but when it come to cheating steroids is cheating. It may be hard to stimulate the fact that you cheated. If you cheat on a test and of course get a good grade that is a short term. But the long term is that you will always regret what you did and one day you will want to go back and not cheat but unfortunately you cheated and that was not the right thing to do. In school cheating is the worst thing you can do don’t do it unless you will say the truth and face the consequences because there will be consequences even when you don’t expect them in life. In life the truth will hurt and you will never forget that day you did the wrong thing and you choose the wrong. You can never do wrong and feel right it’s impossible. It won’t last long until the long term passes to you because it will come and it will hurt with all the pain. Always choose the right because if you choose the wrong there will be pain in you and you will always remember what you did. You will be hurt.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are many non-medical health volunteer opportunities in los angeles and here are some opportunities for young teens to volunteer:

1. Helping the homeless: supporting their social enterprise is a great way to give back. Homeboy industries serves high risk, formerly gang involved men and women with free services and programs, and operates several social enterprises that serve as job training sites.
2. The trevor project: is the only national youth ages 13-24. Qualified volunteers and counselors work in various programs. Volunteers also can be trained by to answer texts and instant messages through trevor chat.
3. County of los angeles library: you volunteer to fix books help others and to put things where they belong. Between ages 13-24 and it helps because they help you out.

CHEAT

“I won’t cheat.”

What this quote means is that you have to promise that you will never cheat. If you cheat on test what is the hole point you just get a good grade but you will regret it and you will never learn because you cheated and you didn’t try your best you just lied about something really bad. We should keep this promise “I won’t cheat” because it is the best thing you can do and the right thing to do. Cheating is being dishonest and lying and not trying your best. You have to try to succeed because if you cheat you won’t succeed and you won’t be happy. Many people may think that cheating is a really good thing but they are wrong cheating is the worst thing you can do and if you do cheat all of your life you will regret cheating. For example, if you are taking a big math test and you find the answers or look at someone else’s paper that is called cheating and then you will regret it remember you can’t do wrong and feel right, it’s impossible. When you cheat and you lie you won’t keep it to yourself one day you will go back and say that you cheated and there will be consequences because cheating is the worst thing you can do in life. You can cheat and feel right about it. It  may be difficult to assume that you cheated but that’s life and if you cheat there are consequences and if you choose the right then you will be happy. Never cheat because you will regret it all your life.

A right heart

What this quote means to me is that the only thing you need to exceed is a right heart. It is really important to have the right heart because it represents who you are and what you do. This quote by Benjamin Franklin is a way of saying that not everyone’s heart is the same but you always have to have the right heart so you can exceed. He is very right about being a great beauty, having great strength, and great reaches because we don’t need all these things to have a great heart you just need to exceed to have a the right heart and to be happy. For example, you don’t need to be popular, you don’t need to have a mansion, you don’t need to have money because none of that matters in the world the only thing that matters is a right heart that you will always have and that will never change who you are. A right heart is a heart that is full of love, kindness, respectfulness, etc…. Not just because you are popular, have money, have a good car, own a mansion none of that really matters like i said the only thing that matters is the right heart inside of you. Being pretty, being rich, having money won’t get you anywhere unless you don’t care about what you have but you care about having the right heart and the loved ones with you. For some teenagers it may be hard because they don’t have the right heart and that doesn’t mean that you have to popular it just means that you need to change what you do, how you act, and the way you treat others and yourself. When you have the right heart that is the most important thing and having the right heart will make you happy for the rest of your life. Remember that a right heart is all that exceeds.

Volunteer opportunities

1. Some opportunities are:

• Youth service- to participate in hands on volunteer projects, build leadership skills, and engage with their community through service. They meet once a week at the GOOD+ Foundation warehouse for 8 weeks.
• Corporate volunteers- work with a group of employees on a volunteer project as part of a company wide day of service at your offices or onsite at our warehouse. Provide a fun and meaningful opportunity for employees to work.
• Wish granter volunteer- wish granting volunteers work in teams of 2-3 to grant the wishes that change lives. Trains these volunteers to help children identify their most heart felt wish and to bring the experience to life in a way that exceeds every expectation.

2. You can apply to youth service by going to GOOD+ and doing an application. You can apply to corporate volunteers by going to good+ foundation and also applying their and you can also donate. Lastly, you can apply to wish granter volunteer by going to wish.org and applying their this a place where you can help others with their dreams and so they can come true.

Create It

What this quote means is that if you want to predict your future you have to create it and not plan it. This also means that in order to be successful in life you have to create your future write down what you want to do in the future and then you will be successful and live those dreams. For example, if you write down that you want to go to harvard then you will achieve that goal by working hard and always trying into you get there and you know that one day you will get there and you will be like yes i made it and i knew that if i never gave up i was going to be here where i am know. You cannot know your future if you don’t create it. Being successful in life may be difficult but you always try and god will always give you a second chance but if you don’t deserve a second chance you will not have the chance to go to college, graduate, have a car, get your own house, etc…….  In life you only create your future. This message from Charles Ketterer is very important because of course everyone wants to predict the future but you have to create it and be successful in life. If you try you will be successful and create your future if you don’t try then you won’t be successful and you will not have a future and you will not create your future. It may be easy to create your future but once you are in the future everything will be difficult and harder for you. Always try and always be successful no one can stop you of being who you are and what you want to be in the future you just have to try hard, work hard and live your life the best. You only live once and if you don’t do what is right you will regret that and if you do what is right you will be successful and create your future and go really far. You have to keep track of what is that you are doing wrong and what is that you are doing right because life is never easy only when you are a baby. If you want to predict your future you have to create it.

Operating Room Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: Part of their job is to put gowns and gloves on the surgeon and surgical assistants. Technicians working in an operating room environment need to emotionally stable and quickly respond to a surgeon’s needs during an operation without being told what to do. They also need to be organized, and orderly. Professionals are expected to be familiar with surgical procedures and keep current on advances in the field.

Salary: $45,940

Education: Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program is necessary to become initially certified as a surgical technologist. Training programs are available through a variety of educational settings. Surgical technology programs can be 9-15 months certificate or diploma programs for two year associate degree programs. Required education, high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited post secondary surgical technology program.

Demand for this profession: They have a much faster job growth outlook than the job market as a whole and have a average salaries of around $46,000.

Reflection: Yes, i would like to be this person to see how much of a better place for others and so i can help these people because without these people families would need them. Also, because it is a good thing to by helping others in need of this help and also we are here to help the world and those that we love to be safe with us. This is why i would like to be an operating room technician.

What this quote means is that before you do something you have to ask yourself if it is right or wrong and if it’s wrong don’t do it and if it’s right do it. This quote also means that when you want to ask someone or get something you have to first stop and think and ask yourself if it is right or wrong and act accordingly. For example, if you want something or you ask for something you first have to think and ask yourself is it right or wrong and then you decide. Also, when you act accordingly you act properly and you do what is right never lie and act wrong because there are consequences and those consequences can lead you to a bad path and you want to take the good path. Doing right is the best thing and helping others is the best thing but when it comes to something really serious you have to think and ask yourself for a moment is it right or is it wrong. You can never be right or wrong first you have to ask yourself is it right or wrong what i am doing. You shouldn’t be doing drugs if you know it is not right then don’t do it. If you know cheating is not right and you will get caught don’t do it it’s that simple just stop think and ask yourself is it right or wrong to do it. You will regret what you did back then you then you won’t be able to change it but you will be able to change the person you were and the person you want to be today and how you want to make better choices in life. Remember life can be difficult but you always need to ask yourself is it right or wrong and act accordingly. In life you want to be a better person a person who cares about their future and what they want to do in life.

           

In acting well

What this quote means is that you have to act good and then you will be honored. Alexander Pope is right because if you don’t act right and you choose the wrong you will not be honored. You have to do good and act well as your part and then you will be honored. Never try to choose the wrong because there will be many problems and then you won’t be honored with goods and you won’t be happy. Be happy, have courage, and show respect and you will be honored. For example, there was this baseball team and was the best in the world like number one and they were always happy and excited of winning their games that they were offered to go to the white house and many people don’t have that chance but then they were not number one anymore. The honor was always a lie and for the baseball team they got disqualified. The baseball team did not follow the rules and they put different people in the baseball team so they can be the #1 in the world and they were but the worst thing was that they lied. When you act well for your part, there all honor lies. Remember that when you act well you know that there are all honor lies. The baseball team would win every game and they played against different countries and were still good because they had people that were not suppose to be on there team so they found out and where not the champions anymore and got kicked out of being the number one baseball team in the world.

Reflection: No i would not like to be this person because i am not looking forward to working as a nursing home administrator i want to be a doctor. Also, because i really don’t like doing that stuff.

Not everyone in the world is right or wrong people are different and it does affect people because people know that right or wrong still brings you consequences. Being taking care of is a really big part of your life because you always want to be watched even when you start growing. Rachel did the right thing giving back that money know higher power will come to her and she will be so happy. Never steal, never lie because if you do then you will live the wrong way and you will not be taken care of. If you don’t do your part no one will do it for you it’s your life and you have to look for yourself and only you. If you do the right thing and the good things you will be taken care of and you will be in good hands wherever you are. Remember that if you lie and steal you will live wrong and not be taken care of which means that you will not have money, or future. You need to do what is right to be taken care of even if you want it really bad don’t steal if not you will not be in good hands. Rachel was brave and she knew what was right she gave the money back and one day she will be thanked for. Never forget that whenever you do right and live right you will always be taken care of and you will never be left alone only if you decide to do bad things.

The Neurosurgeon

Duties and Responsibilities:  Brain surgeon job description and duties. Neurosurgeons perform surgery on the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves to remove tumors, relieve chronic pain and treat wounds, vascular disorders and diseases such as Parkinson's and epilepsy. They also use surgery to relieve hydrocephalus, the abnormal buildup of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain. No, i would not like to be this person because it looks nasty when you are taking or putting back something from another person’s body. This is does not look good when they try to take or put something back in that they removed from your body. I would like to help those who are sick but not take anything or remove anything from there body.
